Really excellent paintings with a lot of Freedom and Joy in here. Great work!
Do you like Roger Herman? I really loved the Neo Expressionist stuff when it was hitting the galleries in 80s LA. Here's ya go. Maybe I'll include some of his stuff in my liveblog -- when I get bsck to it https://hyperallergic.com/578463/beer-with-a-painter-roger-herman/
yeszzz. I experienced a lot of his work at many openings in 80s Postmodern LA along with another Neo Expressionist Georg Baselitz, known fot hanging his work upside down. I so luved both their powerful edgy Visions -- yours too! Vibrant times. But aren't they all?
When I was an art student we tried to paint upside down, just to improve our skills. Painting is painting, no matter the objects, abstractions... all must make sense on the canvas. And yes, art is vibrant always, haha...! Good to be alive!
